10 WWE Superstars Who Need To Go Back To Developmental
4. Emma
There are few people in WWE that have had a worse year than Emma. She started out the year with an incredible match against Paige for the NXT Womens Championship at NXT Arrival, and had already shown up on Raw and SmackDown poised to debut. Then when she did debut, she was alongside Santino, and as entertaining as he is, it wasnt what she needed. She was played for a joke and never even got the chance to show off what a great wrestler she is. Now, nearly at the end of the year, the Divas division is better than its been in a long time. Paige, AJ, Alicia Fox, even The Bella Twins have been killing it for a long time now, and while Emmas name deserves to be in that last, its not. She had an unfortunate run-in with the law earlier this year, and was even released very briefly before WWE reassessed and brought her back. NXT is a place where Emma works. The fans get the nuances of the character and know theres more to her than a silly dance. She needs to retool and re-evulate if she ever wants to be taken that seriously in WWE, and NXT offers the platform to try new things and figure out what works. Theres still time for Emma, and hopefully WWE realise what a talent they have and find something for her to do soon.
