A far cry from the tough guy Italian type we saw in the upper echelons of the tag team division in WCW... When WWF bought WCW, Vito's transition was nothing spectacular. Well, so much so that he was one of the few who weren't even signed by Vince McMahon. However, after a spell in TNA, Vito was signed to a WWE contract in 2005. He debuted after weeks of backstage segments in which other WWE Superstars claimed to have seen him walking about town in a dress. Sadly they were true. There was nothing more to the former Mamaluke's gimmick, which made it the perennial non starter. How was he meant to create anything when he wasn't given anything as much as a back story to justify it? However, people started to (Kayfabe) complain about a man wearing a dress to wrestle, creating the angle for itself. WWE would then start to blur out the bottom half of his body when his dress flailed upwards. Inexplicably, Vito would go on an unbeaten run that lasted for over four months before it was ended by Elijah Burke. Recently, it was revealed that Vito made a $75,000 per year downside while working for WWE. Seventy-five Gs plus the rest to wear a dress... Not too shabby. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THy52ahwy5Y
