10 WWE Superstars Vince McMahon Completely Lost Interest In

10. Test

Tall, ripped and good-looking in a slightly goofy way, Andrew €˜Test€™ Martin was considered to be one of the WWF€™s top rookie prospects in late 1998 and early 1999. He debuted as kayfabe security for Motley Crue when the band played on WWF television, tossing a hapless stage invader. A couple of months later he was teaming with The Rock and attacking Triple H. Less than a year after his debut, Test was involved in a romantic angle with Stephanie McMahon, still in her pure-as-the-driven-snow phase. At SummerSlam 1999, he won a match against her older brother Shane in order to receive his blessing to marry Stephanie, and the wedding was set for November 29th (in the middle of the ring, on Monday Night RAW, of course). Of course, everyone knows what happened next. Stephanie turned heel and aligned with Triple H to form the McMahon-Helmsley faction, and Test was barely given five minutes in his feud with the man who stole his fiancée before he was shunted onto other, lesser things. He€™d win the Intercontinental and European Championships as a singles competitor, and the tag titles with Booker T but, mired in the midcard, the last memorable thing he did in the WWE was face the Undertaker in a losing effort at SummerSlam in 2002. His brief return in 2006, clearly roided to the gills and looking like death warmed up, is best forgotten. Test passed away of a drug overdose in March 2009. He had a phenomenal running big boot and, for a while, was considered potentially the second coming of Diesel. Rest In Power, big fella.
