10 WWE Superstars Who Are Overdue A Main Roster Push
4. Bianca Belair
It’s difficult to believe that Bianca Belair has been on the main roster since WrestleMania 36. Before being shuffled to SmackDown in the most recent WWE Draft, Belair was briefly associated with her real life husband Montez Ford and the Street Profits. She then disappeared from television altogether, before reappearing in a series of promo packages that pushed her gimmick as the EST of WWE (fastEST, smartEST, strongEST- do you see how clever that is?).
Given that both women’s divisions are in desperate need of fresh rivalries and new characters, the fact that Belair has not been used much since her elevation to the main roster seems like a major waste. On the flip side of that, Belair has not been unnecessarily overexposed, still has an aura around her character, and is a phenomenal wrestler. She is an athletic powerhouse who can go against the best wrestlers on WWE’s roster, which she proved this past February when she went one-on-one with Charlotte Flair on NXT.
While Lana walked away as the sole survivor in this year’s women’s 5-on-5 elimination match at Survivor Series, Belair was one of the stand out performers from that match. A budding feud with Bayley seems to be on the horizon and WWE couldn’t have booked Belair with a better opponent for her first proper rivalry. It should be the beginning of an ascent up the card that eventually leads Belair into the SmackDown title picture.
