10 WWE Superstars Who Could Benefit From A Great Feud With The Fiend

8. Jeff Hardy

Noone plays sympathetic babyface quite like Jeff Hardy. If WWE's aim is to get The Fiend looking like an unfeeling battering ram/zombie (and that absolutely should be their aim), putting him in against one of the most beloved and charismatic men to grace the company is the way to go about it.

The beauty of Hardy is that he's a legend and veteran who is still a full-time competitor. A loss doesn't hurt the former Brother Nero one bit - especially coming off an Intercontinental title reign - while his clout is still significant enough to call this a big win for Wyatt.

Having the Fiend crush him would also enable Hardy to reinvent himself a little, like his brother did, and return with an extra edge. Envision Jeff largely as he is now upon returning, only with a gradually growing desperation as opportunities slip through his grasp and his career at the top winds down. Bray can lead into the match telling Jeff that his time is running out if he wants another world title run, while Wyatt himself can go out and win one whenever 'he' feels like it.
