It's been a while since Vince McMahon appeared on WWE TV.

The last time fans saw him, he was dividing up his company, giving control of Raw to Stephanie McMahon and control of SmackDown to Shane McMahon. Since then, he's kept off camera, letting his children run their brands as they see fit.

During the initial brand split, WWE would run an annual "Draft Lottery", where each brand would 'randomly' select roster members from the other. Given the rumors that it's likely to happen again this spring, the wheels can be set in motion on the Raw after WrestleMania - and given that Vince McMahon is the only person with the kayfabe authority to make a change to both brands, his presence may be necessary to kick things off.

Vince appearing on the post-WrestleMania Raw would be a huge news story, and the announcement of another roster shakeup would carry that momentum into the coming weeks.
