10 WWE Superstars Who Could Debut (Or Return) The Night After WrestleMania 39

4. Carmelo Hayes

As this year's NXT Stand & Deliver edges closer, a collision that has felt somewhat inevitable over the last 18 months or so will finally go down as all-conquering NXT Champion Bron Breakker puts his belt on the line against the equally impressive Carmelo Hayes.

In truth, it definitely feels as though this bout is set to act as the developmental swansong for whichever bright NXT light fails to walk out of Los Angeles as the top champ. And while you could argue that Bronnie has likely done everything he can in Shawn Michaels' playground at this point, Melo has been primed and ready for main roster superstardom since last year.

Another absolute banger (apologies, Taz!) on the April 1 show would be a fitting conclusion to one of the most consistent NXT runs of recent times. And having Hayes swagger onto the Monday night show alongside long-time hype man Trick Williams would be money, with his unquestionable superstar aura helping inject some much needed excitement into Raw's midcard going forward.

The sky is the limit for the former North American Champion. And if given the freedom to show off the in-ring ability and charisma that has made him an NXT favourite, there's a good chance this Melo won't miss on the main roster.
