WWE have airlifted Ember Moon out of a petty, inconsequential feud with Fire and Desire and put ‘The Shenom’ in a title programme against Bayley in time for SummerSlam. Which is great!

This could be the start of a sustained push, maybe a title reign, for Moon. On the other hand, she could find that creative once again have no plans for her after August.

If that sounds overly cynical it’s only borne out of experience. Like so many others, Ember is a great talent who was made to look magnificent in NXT then left to flounder on the main roster.

If they can’t find a permanent space for her in the title picture, Queen Of The Ring would give Moon something of significance to do. Plus what better visual to end an inaugural tournament than some poor sap/worthy competitor succumbing to The Eclipse. It’s the most devastating looking finisher on the women’s roster and one of the best in the whole company.
