R-Truth has been one of the few saving graces of WWE TV of late. Not just with his stewardship of the 24/7 Title, but also his stint as US Champ earlier in the year.
Truth seems to be one of the few WWE performers truly capable of making the company’s ropey “comedy” work and he can deliver between the ropes when needed.
If and when they do move Truth on from the 24/7 Title chase, WWE might see King of The Ring as a suitable reward for getting the ugly green strap over with fans.
On the other hand, they might simply view Truth as a safe pair of hands to work the “King” gimmick, alongside long time partner in crime and Queen of Staten Island, Carmella.
