10 WWE Superstars Who Could Win Money In The Bank 2023
1. Drew McIntyre
Take the Karaoke nonsense to one side, and McIntyre's clash with Roman Reigns the last time WWE came to the UK was absolutely sensational. They managed to reheat the 'Scottish Warrior' after the heat-sucking rivalry with Baron Corbin and presented him as a legitimate threat to Reign's dominance over the company.
Seriously, has anyone else felt even remotely as close to dethroning the 'Tribal Chief' than McIntyre did walking into Clash At The Castle?
Like in Wales, the fans will treat McIntyre as a conquering, returning hero, and this could be somewhat of a make good on embarrassing the man by showing his Tyson Fury assisted sing-a-long on the PLE stream.
But it could also act as the catalyst for a much needed change for the 2020 Royal Rumble winner.
McIntyre is overdue a heel turn, and having him win the briefcase as the hometown (near enough) babyface and then cruelly cash in on a babyface champion would re-ignite the man and turn him back into the psychopath of old. Imagine if Sami Zayn manages to win one of the belts from one bully, only to have snatched away by another one.
Fans never got to see a heel run for McIntyre as champion, and the man is as legitimate a main eventer as they come. WWE will need someone to step into the void that Roman Reigns will leave behind if he takes a step back and there is no one better than the man who almost beat him the last time WWE came to town.
