Something needs to change for Bron Breakker.
After nearly a year reigning as the NXT Champion, and being the figurehead of NXT 2.0 (and its underwhelming return to just NXT), the son of Rick Steiner has fallen afoul of the NXT crowd.
It's due to a number of things. His title reign hasn't been particularly exciting and worse, he himself hasn't really felt like he's developed. Sure, he's more competent in the ring, but as a character, he's begun to feel a little stale - and you sense the fans would rather someone like Carmelo Hayes get their time with the belt.
Which means it's time for the second-generation superstar to make his way to the main roster, where his explosive arsenal can rip through either RAW or Smackdown! There is certainly a bucket load of potential in Breakker, and having him tread the well trodden path of a few feuds with mid card heels on his arrival can quickly establish him.
If they want to accelerate his push to the top, then having him not only qualify but win the Money In The Bank briefcase would catapult him towards the main event. Is he ready? It's hard to say. But it's got to be better than being flat out rejected on NXT.
