10 WWE Superstars Who Deserve A Secondary Title Reign

6. Nikki Cross

Looking through the list of realistic contenders for women's world titles on Raw and SmackDown wouldn't take very long; there have been 11 world champions across both brands since the new belts were introduced. As mentioned earlier, the protected few are streets ahead of the rest of the pack, at least in kayfabe right now. Case in point: Nikki Cross.

She's had a few chances at the top table and come up short. Splitting off from Alexa Bliss, Cross should be striking out on her own and growing back into the unpredictable anarchist from years gone by. Her manic energy is the shot in the arm that women's wrestling needs on Raw. With her ruling the upper mid-card scene there is a story that spans the entire division.

She can cause turmoil in the women's ranks; people will be scared to step up to the champ. She could even push the world champion to a close finish in a champion vs. champion encounter. Cross is one more example in the ocean of talent that has been misused by WWE, and anointing her with singles gold goes a long way to making her into the indispensable member of the roster she should be.
