10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need A Character Change In 2015

1. Sheamus

Sheamus was pushed to the top of WWE incredibly quickly following his debut in 2009, with only 166 days between his first appearance on the ECW brand and his Tables match victory over John Cena. However, since the unification of the two world title belts at the end of 2013, Sheamus has struggled to battle into the now crowded main event picture. Plagued by nothing feuds and injury layoffs, Sheamus has had an uneven 2014. Even his run with the United States Championship was marred by a lack of meaningful title defenses and a total dearth of storyline. Fans have also ceased to buy in to his wise-cracking babyface act, so the obvious choice seems to be to bring about a heel turn for the Irishman. Sheamus has already shown how well he can work as a violent, sadistic heel and there are a tonne of fresh feuds and storylines that would be opened up by this turn. Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose or Sheamus vs. Ryback are interesting new rivalries and it would be great to see the Celtic Warrior butt heads with Dolph Ziggler once again. WWE needs to refresh many of its proven main event talents as it continues to build new ones. Sheamus is more than due his heel turn and it could really reinvigorate one of the better in-ring performers in the business.
