10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need A Character Change In 2015

2. Cesaro

It must be tough to be Cesaro right now. Going into WrestleMania XXX, Cesaro seemed to be on the precipice of something huge. He was the breakout star of the Real Americans and looked set to emerge as a main event babyface in the near future. When he turned on Jack Swagger during the WrestleMania pre-show and then won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the stage was set for him to become one of the top babyfaces in the company. However, the following night on Raw, Cesaro aligned with Paul Heyman and continued to work as a heel. It was a baffling move that killed the Swiss Superman's heat, especially when Heyman became far more interested with his returning client Brock Lesnar. After a brief flurry of activity in the main event scene around Money in the Bank, Cesaro slipped rapidly down the card. He now sits in a strange spot, where he is taking losses to lower midcard guys like Jack Swagger every week. He is certainly not the dominant force he was booked as beforehand, especially since Vince McMahon expressed reservations about him during his WWE Network interview on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast. In order to reach his potential, Cesaro needs to turn face. By using his technical mastery between the ropes, he could be used to humble a surging arrogant heel, getting crowd on his side. All it takes is a few revolutions of the Cesaro Swing and the guy could be every bit as over as he was earlier in the year.
