10 WWE Superstars Who Must Retire In 2017
4. Kane
Kane has had a phenomenal career in the WWE and 2017 will mark the 20th anniversary of the character; the perfect time for the man behind the mask Glenn Jacobs to step away from the role.
Since ripping the Hell in a Cell door off its hinges to attack his storyline brother The Undertaker in one of the greatest debuts ever, Kane has been a mainstay of WWE programming, through numerous incarnations of the character. Nowadays, however, interest in the Big Red Machine from the fans has diminished rapidly and a wrestler who has been as important to WWE as Kane has shouldn't be limping along in the role he currently is.
Currently operating as a bit-part player in WWE, Kane turns 50 next year and really has nothing left to achieve in the ring. He's won multiple world titles and been a part of some of the most memorable moments in WWE history. He's a shoo-in for the WWE Hall of Fame, so why not an induction at the 2017 ceremony followed by one last match on the undercard of WrestleMania?
