10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need To Be Sent To NXT

5. Alex Riley

Alex Riley is one of a handful of WWE Superstars who have remained under contract despite not being featured heavily on television or even wrestling. At all (not even at house shows). However, he's made a name for himself as the "Analyst" Alex Riley on pre shows and the like, but a return to the ring is long overdue for the man who became a favourite of many members of the WWE Universe after working with - and later against - The Miz. He's been away from the ring long enough that reinventing himself in NXT wouldn't be too difficult, and it's easy to imagine him being able to quickly work his way back up to the main roster. It's been reported that Riley has actually been performing at NXT tapings lately - possibly in a main event level storyline - so of all those listed here, he undoubtedly has the best chance of benefiting from some time spent down in Orlando over the next few months.
