6. Adam Rose

A gimmick which appeared to show a lot of promise down in NXT has never really connected with members of the WWE Universe, something not helped by the fact that Adam Rose quickly became the WWE's go to comedy character for goofy backstage segments following Santino's sudden departure. Not even UK fans embracing the gimmick last Spring helped Adam Rose as he returned to the states to the same very muted reaction. Since then, he's undergone a half hearted heel turn and feuded with a bunny (which had literally no pay off). It just feels like there's no future for Rose as his heel status makes him pretty much useless for even a comedy role. Seeing as he's already gone through a couple of different characters down in NXT, keeping him off TV for a few months and giving him a "reboot" might be the only way to do anything with this performer moving forwards.
