10 WWE Superstars Who Need To Revert To Their Old Gimmick

From one poorly used Scotswoman to another.

The moment Nikki Cross walked out of the tunnel dressed like Snowball from the Secret Life of Pets, you knew it wouldn't work. It looked lame, her goofy smile didn't help, and in a division that consisted of the likes of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, etc., it didn't stand a hope in hell of going anywhere.

Nikki A.S.H. shockingly won the Money in the Bank and WWE Raw Women's Championship within a 24-hour period, and the fans went mild. There is always a pop for a cash-in, but Nikki's sadly sank almost immediately. Her name basically asks you to treat her as a runner up, as she is almost a superhero as opposed to actually being one.

We are two decades on from when Shane Helms delighted fans as The Hurricane, and the only way A.S.H. got this through Vince's bonkers creative process is that it played to his childish side.

Currently wasting away as a needless heel in a silly suit, Cross has already shown in NXT as the crazy lady of SaNiTy that she could be a violent presence in the division. The fans loved her and her unpredictable, unhinged character carried a legitimate threat to any champion. Let's get back to that, shall we?
