10 WWE Superstars Who Should Be In Money In The Bank (But Aren't)
4. Ruby Riott
Despite only being a member of the WWE roster for a relatively short year and a half, this tattooed superstar has already proven her worth as formidable opponent to many of the established women’s roster. As the leader of her appropriately named Riott Squad, Ruby led her trio through a series of competitive matches with the likes of former women’s title holders, Naomi, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch.
Furthermore, Riott excelled on NXT’s roster, prior to her main show call-up, where she quickly became a fixture in matches for the NXT Women’s Championship. It was ther that she initially showed her tenacity and skill against opponents like Ember Moon, Nikki Cross, and the ever-dominant Asuka. That persistent drive led her to swiftly rise from the NXT ranks and make such an immediate impact on the main roster.
Since the disbanding of the Riott Squad, Ruby has stayed consistent but has been lost in the shuffle of the RAW women’s division. She was given an opportunity to earn entry into the Money in the Bank match, but couldn’t get the job done against Sasha Banks and Ember Moon. Still, Riott continues to drive herself forward and Money in the Bank could have been the shot in the arm needed to catapult her to that next level.
