10 WWE Superstars Who Should Make Appearances In The MCU
5. CM Punk/AJ Lee
The film Rabid certainly got a boost in publicity when it was revealed that both AJ Mendez and Phil Brooks would feature in the Canadian horror flick. With Punk appearing in Girl on the Third Floor and Jakob's Wife, one has to wonder if acting is his next long-term venture.
Is it within the realm of possibility that either of the two could find their way into the MCU?
AJ is a huge comic book fan who's also penned some issues of GLOW herself. The Crazy Is My Superpower author and her husband would be an interesting inclusion in a superhero film. If the couple is on the lookout for more roles, why not look to the MCU for a cameo?
AJ has the build and athleticism to portray any number of superpowered women. It's a shame that the AKA Jessica Jones series is dead in the water because it would be a perfect context for AJ to thrive in.
Wrestling fans would geek out over Punk's appearance in any MCU production — imagine if he was cast as Crusher Hogan in Sony's Spider-Verse — and any role would certainly be a dream job for AJ.
