10 WWE Superstars Who Should Switch Brands In 2017

4. Sheamus

Like his partner Cesaro, Sheamus is a singles competitor trapped in a tag wrestler’s angle. A United States title or World Title run seems unlikely (and unpleasant), but as one of the most effective heels in the company, the Celtic Warrior would make a fine addition to the Intercontinental title scene.

So long as he was kept far away from Randy Orton, Sheamus could be inserted into any mid-to-upper card feud, and would lend it a sense of legitimacy. There are also plenty of Superstars on SmackDown with whom Sheamus has never fought, and freshening up matches is only ever a good thing.

It’d even be interesting to see Sheamus interact with Daniel Bryan, a notoriously anti-heel General Manager who lost his World Heavyweight Championship to The Celtic Warrior in under 20 seconds at WrestleMania 28. I’m still sore about that, and I’m sure Bryan is too.
