Just this week, Nikki Bella teased on Twitter that she will be returning to the ring and stopping off at the WWE Performance Center to continue her rehab from a herniated disc and neck injury.

Nikki Bella made WWE history last Fall when she became the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion, eclipsing AJ Lee's reign from 2013-2014. Nikki lost the title in late 2015 to Charlotte whom has since quietly broken Nikki's reign, though the title was rechristened the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 32.

It is clear that Nikki was a major performer prior to her injury so why was she left off the draft board on July 19th?

Like several others on this list, Nikki's uncertain future as it pertains to her health and the strength of her neck is what likely caused WWE officials to hold Nikki's name back. She appears to be on pace to return to the ring, an option that was not always on the table as her career had been in question just several months ago.

All things considered, if Nikki is able to return to the ring, she'll likely be ecstatic over that development and will overlook the fact that neither brand drafted her to their show.
