10 WWE Superstars Who Will Be Snubbed At WrestleMania 33
2. Kevin Owens
Say what you will about Kevin Owen's Universal Title run, the man has been one of the most consistently entertaining commodities on WWE programming for months now. Paired with Chris Jericho, the two Canadians have played a terrific game dragging out their inevitable combustion, with many believing the two will be headed for a showdown in Orlando. A Universal Championship match against one of the greatest of all time in Y2J? Sounds pretty good for just his second 'Mania right?
There is however a Goldberg-sized obstacle in the way. Their match at Fastlane looks like it will relieve Owens of the title in favour of making Goldberg/Lesnar II even bigger than it is. Their exhibition match simply does not need the Universal Title and Owens could absolutely use a top spot in Orlando, but the stars don't look aligned for The Prizefighter.
Working a slow-burning feud with Jericho is still an excellent program which many non-casual fans will be excited for, but should Goldberg walk into WM33 as Universal Champion it will completely sum up WWE's inability to take the emphasis away from part-timers at WrestleMania.
