10 WWE Superstars Who Will Leave In 2018

8. Curt Hawkins

Unlike The Colóns, Curt Hawkins was getting some heat from fans for his elaborate entrances and over-the-top promo style before WWE lost interest. It was never going to take him above mid card, granted, but then he was only rehired in time for the brand split last year to pad out the roster. He must have known that.

His positioning doesn't give SmackDown's creative team an excuse for how he's been treated though. During a rare pay-per-view appearance at Great Balls Of Fire, Hawkins (along with Heath Slater, who has mastered the art of being a utility man) was disrespectfully overlooked in favour of furthering the Braun Strowman/Roman Reigns ambulance angle. His match was barely even shown on screen.

Hawkins has a good look, can wrestle, and is decent on the microphone. There's no way he should be settling for a few scant minutes of screen time here and there or pay-per-view matches nobody remembers. It must be disheartening to be doing even less than the last time he was in WWE.
