5. Sami Zayn
Zayn vs. Reigns should absolutely be happening for a world title, but not just yet. The pair should both continue their excellent title runs well into 2021: they are the two best heels in the business right now, for very different reasons. The time should be coming for Zayn to claim his maiden WWE world championship, though, and what a way to give him a strong champion feel than by taking out the biggest star on the full-time roster.
After being such a beloved face it was impossible to see how Sami's heel turn would ever work. The music, his in-ring style, and his natural underdog stature all lean towards the light side of WWE's soap opera. Somehow, it's now unthinkable that Zayn would ever be cheered again, but we all know it takes one Helluva Kick to the right man and we'll all be right back on his side.
Once we have some degree of crowd participation, the Sami face turn and overdue rise to main event level would be welcomed. It's the Kofi Kingston/Daniel Bryan/Rey Mysterio moment for a WrestleMania in the future. Zayn is also another Superstar who could mix it up with Heyman in the promo game with blistering results.
