10 WWE Superstars Who'd Be Better Off In The Indies (Or Overseas)

5. Titus O'Neil

Titus O'Neil is 6' 5", 300 pounds and entertaining as hell. 30 years ago, he'd be called either The Junkyard Dog or "The Natural" Butch Reed and be a solid performer in WWE who had a great run in another territory that established his legitimacy. Insofar as Titus O'Neil, he needs that run elsewhere to establish himself. WWE needs to establish a partnership with New Japan Pro Wrestling. No, not so that WWE can manufacture Bullet Club t-shirts and AJ Styles can finally main event Wrestlemania, but more so that WWE performers who are literally just needing exposure to hit the next level can do so. Titus O'Neil just needs the proper platform to be great. Imagine Titus O'Neil in the gaijin role occupied by Bob Sapp - who won New Japan's heavyweight championship in 2004. Sapp as a non-Bullet Club gaijin wrestling for New Japan and doing things like the "Sapp Time" video would be fantastic, and give O'Neil the space to create a gimmick that would be worth watching on WWE television. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceCRgf5tf0g
