10 WWE Superstars Whose Careers Were Shortened By TLC
3. The Undertaker
We have all read the rumours of The Undertaker's condition following his defeat to Brock Lesnar at WreatleMania XXX but it would have been equally interesting to see him after one of the most infamous bumps of the 'noughties.' This staggering stunt took place at One Night Stand in 2008 as 'Taker took on Edge in the WWE's seventh TLC match. It was the moment that sealed Taker's fate, he was all set to claim the Wold Heavyweight Championship before La Familia interfered to stall The Deadman. Edge would send 'Taker tumbling through four tables as he toppled a 16 foot ladder. Unsurprisingly, The Undertaker wouldn't get up from this devastating fall and Edge won the match. 'Taker would turn to a one-match a year man no too far after this and bumps like this can't have helped his in-ring career. Of course, he had been a full-time member of the roster for the best part of 20 years. Still, a 43-year-old man taking these sort of bumps is an amazing feat in itself.
