10 WWE Superstars Whose Music Was Cooler Than They Are

9. Bertha Faye

Bertha Faye, who previously wrestled in Japan under the amazing name of Monster Ripper, never had much of a chance in the WWE. She was booked not as a female wrecking ball of a competitor, but as a comedy fat woman act with dayglo ring gear and Harvey Wippleman as a boyfriend.

Her character required her moves be limited to clotheslines, splashes and simple takedowns, with blown kisses thrown in for heat. She was there to be laughed at, mainly by Vince McMahon.

Her music, however, was an example of a theme that perfectly suited the gimmick, even if the gimmick itself was about as over as ebola. The WWE created a cheesy country love song, crooned by Wippleman, extolling the beauty, elegance and aroma of his radiant bride-to-be. It managed to be both ideal for the gurning behemoth of Faye herself, and completely different to anything else at the time. A shame it probably wouldn't have worked for Monster Ripper.
