10 WWE Superstars You Forgot Sang Their Own Entrance Music
4. The Fabulous Rougeaus
Jacques Rougeau might be the unofficial record-holder of having the most self-sung entrance tracks with three. The Mountie and The Quebecers' theme songs have already been discussed, but perhaps the best of the bunch was Jacques' first attempt at singing his own song.
Some of the best lyrics of all wrestler-sung entrance music were written for Jacques and Raymond, The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, as they made their way "from Montreal to Memphis" in attempt to become "All-American boys". Of course, their words rang hollow since, prior to debuting their new entrance music, the duo had turned heel and employed the services of uber-villain manager, Jimmy Hart.
"We don't like heavy metal, we don't like rock & roll. All we like to listen to is Barry Manilow."
As the Rougeaus made their way to the ring, led by the Mouth of the South, they waived little American flags and perfected turning brotherly love into fan-infuriating heel heat. Their combination of over-the-top antics, ironic "love" for all things American, and their obnoxious yet melodic tones made The Fabulous Rougeaus one of the WWF's most underrated tag teams of the 1980s.
