10 WWE Superstars You Never Knew Wrestled In Japan

10. The Undertaker

WWE Before he was The Dead Man in WWE The Undertaker wrestled under many different aliases for several territories around the United States including as Texas Red (in WCCW), The Master of Pain (USWA), The Punisher (WCWA) and Mean Mark Callous (WCW). During his largely forgettable run in WCW €˜Taker (as the nondescript Punisher Dice Morgan) briefly toured with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). His most notable appearance during his time in New Japan was teaming with a pre-Razor Ramon Scott Hall against the team of Masa Saito and the late Shinya Hashimoto. Undertaker returned to Japan as a full-fledged WWE superstar in October 97, performing on Michinoku Pro€™s fourth anniversary show as part of a talent exchange agreement between both companies. Gone was the plain, trunks and boots Punisher Dice Morgan and in was the supernatural, ass kicking demon from Death Valley. His appearance here was wholly more memorable than his previous ones in Japan as he hit all of his signature moves and even had his opponent Jinsei Shinzaki (former WWE wrestler Hakushi) carried away in a casket after nailing him with the tombstone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_rpopuegCA
