6. "205! 205! 205!"

A chant rarely heard but belted out by the ordinarily quiet Staples Center locals, the song for Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali late into their scintillating contest spoke literal volumes about the sleeper hit they'd assembled in unfavorable circumstances.

Unlike literally every other wrestler on the show, the two weren't part of the overarching Raw Vs SmackDown Live narrative. Furthermore, their match had to follow main roster favourites Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins earlier in the night. And the less said about the state of their General Manager following the last contest, the better.

All that drained away within minutes, as the two gave the last surviving audience members of Wednesday night's 205 Live huge vindication for sticking with them. Believably fought - as part of a contest for a fake belt that was believably fought for - Buddy and Mustafa continued the credible job they and others have done in restoring pride to the league in the way of prior match audience invader Enzo Amore never could this time last year.

There is still work to be done, but the work is one of the few things that needs little improvement.
