Daniel Bryan Brock Lesnar Survivor Series

Monday Night Raw's team won a chaotic elimination clash that was cause for mass celebration for acting General Manager Baron Corbin until he remembered this win rendered him soon murdered by Braun Strowman.

A weirdly-structured encounter that seemed to aim to protect Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman by making them their own and each other's worst enemies, Raw continued their dominance by beating the blue brand just ahead of them beating each other.

Finn Bálor and Dolph Ziggler were the talking props for Vince McMahon in a match suited to his style. McIntyre, Strowman and Bobby Lashley looked f*cking massive on the red side of the ring, particularly in contrast to a blue brand robbed of Samoa Joe within 35 seconds. Literally and figuratively flexing their muscles over a divided and completely conquered SmackDown Live side, the inevitability of the result to virtually everybody in the arena in the middle of such madness brought the drama screeching to a halt long before the match actually concluded.

Conflicts old and new were progressed at least - Braun has dates with Baron Corbin, Brock Lesnar and possibly Drew McIntyre, whilst The Miz may now step in as Shane McMahon's WrestleMania foe. Like last year's tag team encounter, the result will likely be forgotten before Christmas.
