Ronda Rousey couldn't keep having the same sort of spectacle/showcase match she emerged from completely unsullied during her original WrestleMania-to-SummerSlam stint.

As awesome as 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' looked in victory, her skills at avoiding defeat required some road-testing before fans grew tired of her squash victories. Matches against Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss met mixed reactions as a result, but her feud with Nikki Bella revealed the transformation the former UFC Bantamweight Champion has undergone in almost record time.

At SummerSlam, she was a killer. At Evolution, she was a Sports Entertainer. At Survivor Series, she was both.

The division's awesome match common denominator may have had something to do with it of course. Ms Consistency was at it again after being on the wrong end of some righteous encounters with former friend Becky Lynch last month, Charlotte Flair was back in the thick of it here, working out of her skin alongside a battered, bruised and bleeding Rousey to craft a sensational showdown that left more on the table for a rainy day. That is as long the clouds don't begin to form over WrestleMania 35's MetLife Stadium...
