No, The Brothers of Destruction sadly never got the chance to do battle with original The Legion of Doom, which is a shame considering how epic of an encounter that likely would have been. While they did face The Legion of Doom at one point in 1998, it wasn't the original incarnation of Hawk and Animal. Instead, it was Animal and Droz, the LOD B Team. Droz entered the picture shortly following Hawk and Animal's return to WWE at WrestleMania XIV and teamed with Animal throughout most of the year, but didn't find much success within the tag team ranks. Their Heat match with The Brothers of Destruction that September was largely disappointing with it lasting only a few minutes before ending on a disqualification. It is worth noting, however, that Animal and Droz were among the first few teams to go up against The Undertaker and Kane as this contest took place early in their alliance.
