Sorry Primo and Epico but Los Matadores are one of the lesser desired tag challengers on this list. But could it still happen in a moderately sensical manner? Sure.
It was just a mere month ago that this team was being presented as legitimate contenders in the build up to WrestleMania. They shouldn't have fallen that far since. Fans mostly knew better and didn't buy into the idea that they were leaving Mania as champs but it doesn't erase that they were in that title match.
If New Day wins on Sunday and needs a soft challenge for the following Pay-Per-View then Los Matadores would be an acceptable fit. They'd be the bridge to a more credible challenge, giving New Day a successful defense to help establish a more lengthy reign.
