10 WWE Tag Title Challengers After Extreme Rules

Aiden English and Simon Gotch have a real standout of a gimmick. Their 1920's-inspired gentleman strongman presentation made them an instant hit when they debuted in NXT during the summer of 2014. 

Despite being very over, the duo would lose in the finals of an August 2014 Number 1 Contender's tournament to the Lucha Dragons. Their next closest taste of tag gold came during an October loss to the same Lucha Dragons in an NXT Tag Team Championship match.

The two have not had a serious run at the titles in a while and it could be because they are on deck for a main roster debut. Their entrance is incredibly unique and their personas are so creative. If WWE introduced them to challenge for the Tag Team Championships, it could work out very favorable in getting these guys over.
