10 WWE Things That Are Impossible To Believe In

4. (Too Many Of) The Performers

There are several WWE performers - an astonishing number, given the 2018 industry standard - simply incapable of wrestling the part.

Nia Jax is dangerous and limited, inspiring reactions of anxiety and boredom. In many ways, she is the opposite of a good worker; a good worker is meant to simultaneously thrill and reassure the audience that they are, despite the brutal visual, watching a professional at work. Carmella can draw mild heat, but cannot wrestle a dramatic match, instead relying on the cheapest of shortcuts to irritate fans into caring. She is a one-dimensional performer.

They are the champions of their respective divisions.

Big Cass used Carmella's deathly dull approach on the same show (Backlash) by leading Daniel Bryan around the ring in a borderline insulting display of irony. At least his height alone conveys that he hovers around threat-level; the work of Mandy Rose is so error-strewn and reliant upon the contortion and protection of her opponents that you don't so much wonder who's going to win her matches, but wonder how she was deemed adequate enough for promotion. Tamina is worthless. Alicia Fox is a suplex. Baron Corbin is serviceable. He's also a mooted future WWE Champion.

In too many cases, these aren't jobbers we're missing the point of. They are at the forefront of a future McMahon has never been more secure enough to make a present-day reality.
