10 WWE Things That Must Happen In The Second Half Of 2015

2. Sting Must Wrestle Another Match

Fans would be hard-pressed to name a bigger WWE debut than Sting's from the 2014 Survivor Series event. It was rumored he was going to appear at the event, but he was the last person people expected to get involved in the main event that night, and when he showed up, the entire arena came unglued knowing they were witnessing something special. Despite a flawed and outdated WWE vs. WCW narrative, his subsequent feud with Triple H was well done on the whole. Sting's appearances were wisely spaced out and saved for special moments, building excitement for his first ever WWE match at WrestleMania 31. The match versus Triple H was perhaps the most polarizing on the entire card: some fans enjoyed its nostalgic feel while others criticized the excessive amount of over-booking. To the surprise of viewers, Sting lost the match yet still shook the hand of his adversary afterward. He explained the next night on Raw that he wasn't certain of what was next for him, which was code for: "WWE has zero clue what to do with me." Despite that, Sting is bound to make his televised return before the end of 2015 as well as wrestle another match in order to get his win back. In fact, it would be fitting to have the man they call Sting compete at the very event he debuted at one year earlier: Survivor Series.
