10 WWE Title Moments You DEFINITELY Can’t Remember

3. Seth Rollins Is Saved By A Foot

OK, so there's no way anybody remembers this match. Shout out to those who scoffed when seeing the likes of Keith Lee vs. Drew McIntyre or X-Pac vs. The Rock. Both were higher profile than this random one-off from the 3 August 2015 edition of Raw. On that show, The Authority's Seth Rollins defended his title vs. Neville.

Yes, Neville. AEW's PAC had the dorkiest ring name imaginable during his WWE stay, but he shone when given the chance. The bout vs. Rollins had some epic, close near falls that fooled fans around ringside into thinking the would-be Mighty Mouse might emerge with the belt. Those were nothing compared to one of the best rope break moments ever.

It's a pity this gets zero attention.

A Red Arrow seemed to have Seth's number, but the lucky get's foot fortuitously draped across the middle rope when Neville pinned him. The referee spotted that at the last possible second, which deflated the crowd. They'd been counting along with a match-winning pin. What an excellent, albeit completely forgotten moment.

The way Rollins let his body's momentum carry him into the ropes without forcing it was a chef's kiss bit of work.
