10 WWE Title Moments You DEFINITELY Can’t Remember

2. A Giant Sized Title!

Bobby Heenan's face 100% says, 'Man, that's a big biscuit tin lid' in the screen grab above. Seriously though, just feast your eyes on the sheer size of that one-off WWF Championship belt. It was custom made for Andre The Giant during the lead up to his match with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania III, and it's remarkable that hardly anybody talks about it.

You'd need some of Hulk's vitamins to haul that sucker around the airports.

The company showed this title off on Prime Time Wrestling during segments with Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby, but that'd be the last fans saw of the thing. Of course, Andre didn't win the belt in 1987, so there was no need to keep this beast made of metal and leather around any longer. It'll be in a warehouse somewhere, presumably.

Although, again, quite why it hasn't popped up on any of those WWE warehouse deep dives is anyone's guess. Maybe the thing was trashed in '87 because Vince McMahon reasoned he'd never put the title on Andre anyway and nobody else would be big enough to sport it.

What a curious customisable.
