10 WWE WrestleMania 35 Card Predictions After SummerSlam 2018

3. Retirement Match: The Undertaker Vs. John Cena

This clash was originally rumoured for SummerSlam itself, but didn't come to pass. Few were disappointed by its omission. While fun, the Undertaker and John Cena's WrestleMania 34 bout was ostensibly a squash, with the 16-time World Champion flattened in just a few minutes. It did nothing to build anticipation for a potential rematch, though anyone hoping for a "Dream Match" was living in a dreamworld in the first place.

The rumours refuse to die. It sounds very much like WWE still plan on making the bout a reality, so why not raise the stakes? Why not make this 'Taker's final farewell, which should, if announced ahead of schedule, guarantee at least a few thousand extra ticket sales?

'The Deadman' will be 54 by the time 'Mania rolls around. He looked lost against Roman Reigns at 33, botched a big boot versus Cena at 34, and struggled to keep up with Rusev at the Greatest Royal Rumble. It'll soon be time to say "goodbye," and he has more than earned a dedicated retirement match on the biggest show of the year.
