10 WWE WrestleMania 36 Card Predictions After Royal Rumble 2020
8. SmackDown Women's Title: Bayley (c) Vs. Sasha Banks
Grab a pen and put a big fat X next to "WhatCulture writer predicts Bayley vs. Sasha Banks... again" on your bingo cards, ladies and gentlemen, because here it is: 'The Boss' and 'Role Model' going one-on-one at WrestleMania 36.
Much of this prediction comes from the process of elimination. Recent reports suggest Charlotte Flair won't be challenging Becky Lynch or Bayley on 5 April, leaving the SmackDown Women's Champion without an obvious opponent. Sure, they could pull a Lacey Evans title switch before then, but that seems unlikely. Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Nikki Cross are out of the title picture at the moment. Ember Moon is injured. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose haven't been sufficiently built up.
So here comes Banks.
It'd be interesting to see how this went down, alignment-wise. The Bayley heel experiment isn't clicking and the performer doesn't come across confident or assured in her new role, but turning her face would mean abandoning it mere months after taking an axe to the wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tubemen. It may be essential, though: Sasha is a lot more compelling as the villain.
