10 WWE Wrestlers' New Year's Resolutions

7. Gallows & Anderson - Invent A Time Machine

This time last year, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson were the kings of NJPW heavyweight tag wrestling. They had dominated the division for a solid two years, and only when there was nothing left for them to achieve did they decide the time was right to pack up and head back to the USA. WWE beckoned, and the duo arrived after WrestleMania 32 with a major reputation for kicking butt.

After a fairly promising beginning, Anderson & Gallows (now reverted back to his Luke Gallows WWE moniker) became the major victims of WWE's obsession with having The New Day break Demolition's record for the longest tag team championship reign of all time. The bald duo lost time and again to New Day, almost always in controversial circumstances.

The Club need to hit the reset button and hit it hard, to go back to a time when they were salty old guys who were interested in beating people up and little else. They need to go back to how they were viewed when they left Japan, and quick. The Club need to invent a time machine, but dear God please make sure it only goes back. We don't need to see The Old Day again.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
