10 WWE Wrestlers Already Dreaming Of AEW

3. Gran Metalik

Insert Disenchanted WWE Star doesn't necessarily want to depart for AEW.

It's the hottest promotion in the world, and if that's not quite objective, then objectively, every free agent of renown wants to go there, and they indeed have: CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole did. Possibly because it's the hottest promotion in the world.

Maybe it is automatic.

But Gran Metalik presumably doesn't fancy returning to CMLL because the promotion is in total disarray. Ravaged by COVID restrictions and an ageing roster of carny stains, it's not a place to make money or restore one's star power.

We know for certain that Metalik is disenchanted; per Más Lucha, the luchador has "shown his dissatisfaction" to various sources connected to him. Lucha House Party teammate Lince Dorado meanwhile banters WWE off on Twitter at every opportunity, if a rather obvious report needed to be substantiated.

Gran Metalik is a nobody in WWE, and they evidently don't give a sh*t about him. Not that many WWE fans would know it, but he is a spectacular, agile performer with a similar ability to do impossibly cool sh*t on the ropes as Rey Fénix...

...who, as AEW World Tag Team Champion, would indicate to Metalik that AEW is the promotion for him.
