10 WWE Wrestlers Buried By Words Alone

9. Lance Storm

Pointing out the times that Triple H and John Cena have buried opponents is easy, but what about when a universally beloved wrestler does it?

Take, for example, Stone Cold Steve Austin's run-in with Lance Storm in 2003, when the then-Raw co-general manager saddled the Canadian with the "boring" tag, something that has unfairly followed him around ever since.

In fairness, there was a whiff of truth to this at the time. While Storm had always been one of the industry's great, underrated traditions, he was seldom given the opportunity to develop his wider persona on account of being stuck for so long in the mid-card.

Openly acknowledging his struggles to get over wasn't the right way to remedy the situation, though. If anything, it merely confirmed to all the naysayers in the audience that this guy didn't have any future at the top of the card after all.
