10 WWE Wrestlers Buried By Words Alone

8. Bayley

Admittedly, Bayley's burial last year at the hands of Alexa Bliss was part on the microphone and part in the ring - but it was the microphone part that came first, and as such it seems reasonable to consider it the more significant part.

And this isn't an attack on Bliss either. She's obviously a very capable heel - perhaps the best in the entire WWE female division - and she did exactly what was asked of her by attempting to embarrass her opponent during the This is Your Life segment.

Rather, the problem was how The Huggable One reacted to it all. She looked absolutely humiliated, as though her quite vanilla past being brought up on an episode of Monday Night Raw would be a death knell for her career.

And it might well be too. She went into that segment one of WWE's leading babyfaces, and just about a year later she's lucky if she's even in the running for a shot at the Women's Championship. Oh, how the tide turns.
