10 WWE Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2018

6. Mojo Rawley

Most fans were left groaning at the prospect of a Mojo Rawley singles push ahead of Clash Of Champions, but the former Hype Bro defied all expectations in the lead up to the event. His pre-match promos were excellent, and the bout with Zack Ryder turned out to be one of the night's most heated. Suddenly, the prospect of Rawley as a solo heel didn't seem like such a terrible idea after all.

The past few weeks suggest that big things are in Mojo's immediate future. Sure, it's a small sample size, but his upturn can't be dismissed, and while he'll never become a five-star worker, hard graft should turn him into a midcard success story.

Expect Rawley to overcome Ryder in the United States Title Tournament, then fall in the semi-finals. A run with the gold should happen in 2018, but the Hype Bros' pre-Clash form suggests there's plenty mileage left in their feud, and bringing it to a satisfactory resolution should be prioritised. Where they go after that is anyone's guess, but WWE will never have a better opportunity to make something of the admittedly limited Rawley.
