10 WWE Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2019

3. Mandy Rose

In fairness, it would've been just as easy to slot Sonya Deville into this spot.

After debuting as part of Absolution, the promising duo have had to wait a while for their chance, but recent booking patterns suggest that it’s going to come sooner or later. Rose, in particular, has taken on a bigger role, especially on the microphone, while Deville has progressed greatly in the ring, though there are some concerns over her MMA-style gimmick in a Universe where Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler exist.

Nonetheless, while Charlotte Flair, Asuka. and Becky Lynch are the undisputed top women on SmackDown, there’s room just beneath them on the pecking order. Rose is the prime candidate to take one of those spots. She’s decent in the ring, she has the kind of look the company loves, and almost certainly has more upside than SmackDown’s existing midcarders, so expect her to feature in and around the title scene for much of 2019.

A run with the belt isn’t totally out of the question either, though it’d likely just be a transitional spell if Becky and Charlotte are still making magic.
