10 WWE Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2020

2. Andrade

Hope will always kill you in WWE, as it looked like the promotion were on the verge of handing Andrade a major push on the back of his awesome feud with Rey Mysterio, but they dialled back. Rather than capitalising on the buzz and acclaim, he and Zelina Vega remained stuck in the middle.

WWE have never truly undermined Andrade on the main roster, though. Even when he wasn't being pushed, 'El Idolo' was allowed to look good and positioned on a level above the rank and file, most of whom he'd defeat with relative ease. He wasn't scoring career-making victories, but he wasn't jobbing out either. Andrade was kept simmering.

Recent booking patterns suggest WWE may finally be on the verge of doing something with the former La Sombra, who currently finds himself on a decent little Raw run. The company have been very careful in their presentation of him between the ropes - always unusually so - and this bodes well for him in 2020. An elite wrestler with an elite valet, him and Vega are an outstanding Sports Entertainment act begging for a star-making programme that can't be far off now.
