10 WWE Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2024

4. Chad Gable

Every year since 2015 has been a breakout for Chad Gable, but 2024 will mark the first time he gets to do it for him, for good reasons, and for real.

It won’t be him breaking out of obscurity by helping yet another partner to find a role that actually connects, nor will it be him breaking out of creative ignorance/negligence including but not limited to reservations about his height (!), promo ability (!!) or overall match quality (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). It will be him breaking out of the shackles at long last, breaking a glass ceiling, and maybe even breaking the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion’s streak.

There’s perhaps no wrestler that could best exemplify the philosophical shift the company has undergone since Triple H replaced his ancient Father-In-Law, and while the company’s top title might remain just out of Gable’s reach, he’s got the talent and tenure to not need that for the wider validation he’s been repeatedly held back from receiving.
